Verrill is actively reviewing resumes for a Corporate Paralegal position in our Westport, Connecticut Office. This role is a full-time, non-exempt position supporting attorneys in our Business Law Practice Group. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing, and revising corporate legal documents and memoranda, corporate, securities, and charitable filings and registrations, researching regulations, maintaining files, assisting clients, and responding promptly with the ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with at least three (3) years of experience handling corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, charitable and commercial registrations, Uniform Commercial Code filings, and/or relevant educational background. Blue Sky law experience is a plus as well as familiarity with commercial co-ventures and cause related marketing. The successful candidate will be capable of producing high quality work in a timely and professional manner, while providing exceptional client service and team support.
The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, strong organization skills and advanced computer skills (including Word and Excel). Applicants should have proven project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks successfully.
